Discover You — Executive Function & Neurodivergence. Helping People Navigate Complex Systems.

Neurodivergence & Executive Function

When we understand what's happening beneath the behaviour, we can respond differently.

I come alongside professionals, organizations and individuals to help turn greater understanding into practical, effective support.

Core services

How We Can Work Together

Support can look different depending on the person, professional or system involved. I work alongside individuals and professionals to build understanding, identify barriers and develop practical approaches that support meaningful participation and follow-through.

Consultation

For professionals, teams and organizations seeking a better understanding of how executive function, neurodivergence and cognitive differences may be affecting behaviour, communication, decision-making or follow-through. Together, we identify barriers and develop practical approaches that better fit the person and the situation.

Coaching & Individual Support

For neurodivergent individuals navigating expectations, decisions, transitions or complex systems. Support focuses on strengthening understanding, communication, self-advocacy and practical strategies that help the person participate more fully and move forward with greater confidence.

Tailored Training & Workshops

For organizations and teams wanting to strengthen how they understand and respond to neurodivergence and executive function differences. Training connects understanding to everyday practice, helping professionals recognize barriers, adjust approaches and provide support that is more responsive to individual needs.

Better understanding can change how we respond, and better responses can change what becomes possible.

What clients say

Trusted by the people I've worked with

“Coaching with Jody has been a fantastic and transformative experience. She has a way of making you feel truly seen, heard, and supported without any judgment. Through our coaching, she helped me understand how my brain works and build systems that actually fit the way I think—and for the first time, I've been able to make real, lasting changes. I feel much better equipped and capable of handling my ADHD challenges and feel more productive in my daily life.”

Lauren, Law Student

“Our son was challenged with organization and time management, such as missing deadlines, forgetting to study for tests, spending hours playing online games and watching videos without realizing how much time was lost. He had a hard time getting started with schoolwork, especially if he didn't have a big chunk of time.

We had hired Executive Functioning Coaches previously and experienced the situation where they were doing the organization for our son, so he wasn't learning how to do it himself, or forcing him to do it their "way" and making him feel bad when he didn't succeed.

Jody took the time to get to know our son and to offer strategies and tools to help him find what works for his brain and his style. If something didn't work, she has never made him feel bad about it, but is a positive force in trying something new. She is also wonderful at celebrating small "wins." She doesn't tell him what to do, but uses her coaching expertise to help him find the answers within himself.

Karie, mother of a college student

“Jody Beagle is a phenomenal coach. She is so smart, empathetic, and kind. Her questions have gently helped me to find the root of some of my greatest struggles with ADHD and RSD, and I always feel safe to talk with her about even the hardest things. From the very first time I met with her, Jody struck me as a person of integrity and character who would follow through - and that's proven to be 200% true. I would trust Jody with anything. I'm so grateful for her coaching, which has definitely helped me move in a healthier direction.”

Andrea M., Fellow Coach

“Jody creates a judgment-free space where I can share openly what is weighing me down. Her supportive presence and insightful perspective bring clarity to complex situations. After each session, I move forward with renewed confidence to handle the challenges before me. Working with Jody is a valuable investment in myself.”

Why executive function, neurodivergence and cognitive differences matter

Organizations may already be investing substantial time, funding, and professional resources. But that investment can be less effective when neurodivergence, cognitive differences, and executive function needs aren't recognized or understood.

When these differences aren't recognized, difficulty can be mistaken for unwillingness or non-compliance.

That can lead to repeated interventions, frustrated professionals, disengagement, and resources being used without achieving the intended outcome.

Why This Matters in Justice Settings

Neurocognitive differences can affect a person's ability to understand legal information, communicate effectively, make decisions, follow expectations and conditions, and prepare for transitions back into the community.

Canadian research on FASD in justice settings also points to the need for greater professional knowledge, appropriate supports, and continuity of support as individuals move between correctional and community settings.

About me

ABOUT ME

For more than 30 years, I've worked alongside individuals, families and professionals across education, disability and community support, coaching, leadership and justice settings.

That experience has taught me to look beyond behaviour and ask what may be getting in the way: understanding, executive function, communication, environment, expectations or support.

HOW I CAN HELP

I help professionals and individuals understand what's happening beneath the surface, identify barriers and develop practical approaches that fit the person, the situation and the system they're navigating.
